Meet my new Sammy TV – a Samsung 32″ full HD LCD TV Series 6!

I tell you this is only good for movies coz the signal of the cable and local TV reception here is still analog which is not compatible with this digital TV. I almost cried when I found out that our TV viewing will be dominated with seeing “bees” on the big screen when all I thought that I would have a much better time watching the news at CNN, movies and other TV shows. Good thing our smaller 21″ Samsung TV is still working and showing which is better for TV viewing!

I have a comment though with the after sales service of Samsung in Gaisano Mall  which is poor. I hope this Samsung branch under Metro Plaza franchise (the store in front of Gaisano Mall) will improve their after sales customer service. You can’t just neglect your customers after you have made your sales. They promised to help us fix the reception of the TV but the technician which both the cashier Ivy and salesman Louie said they will send over never came and they never texted or called us. We came back twice to their Gaisano Mall store but they were just so-so. Until now we are also still waiting for the free DVD and it has been exactly a week now since we bought this but still no word from them.

But oh well we have accepted that they did not tell us about that one problem with the TV viewing. Of course how could you sell this digital TV if you tell prospect buyers that watching local TV or cable TV would be like watching a TV you bought from surplus just like those I have seen before in San Pedro St. and somewhere else.

But on the other hand, we have enjoyed watching movies in this 32′ Samsung wide screen full HD LCD TV. No regrets on that matter. So my friend Te JennyL was right that this is good for movies. I just did not know it was only good for movies now. Well Maybe I should not totally blame Samsung sales for not telling me that one big nega factor. Maybe I just could not do anything now since the cable provider still cannot provide that digital signal for LCD TV owners until next year. Hubby read online that it is available in Manila but not yet here in our place. For now it’s best for movies and so-so for TV viewing. We have gotten used to the poor TV reception anyway. I just wished they told us before hand though.

Well, well I should be happy now and just forget that Samsung neglected us after they have sold this TV to us. This  has been some sort of a gift to myself and at the same time a souvenir. I finally received the proceeds of my PF which I have worked hard to pay for 5 years and  waited for another 5 years which I thought I would never receive so  I rewarded myself and since hubby and I as well as our son likes to watch movies well different movies that is, so we got this.
