We are halfway to 2010 and it has been a good year so far. There are still a few projects though that we have to start with including having the garage floor in my parent’s house fixed so that we can have a roof placed over there coverting it somehow into an extension for them to entertain guests and neighbors that would come and drop by the house to visit. Also we can then have our family get together for special family occasions and holidays there from time to time so we need not go to my sister’s house which is farther than my parent’s house.

Currently the floor is cemented and we plan to replace it with those removable garage floor tiles that I once come across while hubby and I were window shopping for house materials for our other plan before to have our own house which we don’t live in and have it renovated so we could have it rented out. We’ve been browsing the garage floor gallery of Floor Junkies and what we liked about their product is that they are easy to install and easy to remove. So in case you want to move you can take them with you or you can remove them and replace them with another design perhaps. This is just one of the projects and there are a few others more. Just waiting for the other sisters final decision on our parent’s house as this has to be a joint project.
