Stay in Touch with Friends

Your job won’t take care of you when you are sick. Your friends will. Stay in touch.

Just something to think about especially for the workaholics out there. I remember how fun it was and how happy I was to finally have reconnected with some of my old friends from way back more than twenty years go. (Okay don’t think I am that old.) It is best to note though the importance of staying in touch and keeping the communications lines open between old, sincere and caring friends who you can count on when you need them most, other than your family of course.

This reminds me of an old friend who is seriously sick until now but according to one of our friends, she is doing well now and coping with her condition. She is back to work though when she was really sick months before, it was her friends who mostly supported her in terms of finances too aside from the moral and spiritual support that she really needed during those times and now. We still continue to pray for her total and continuing recovery.

Sometimes we would realize that instances like that, one would really know who the real friends are.
