Swimming

My sister was invited to a swimming party this coming weekend. I am still undecided though if we’d come along with the boys or not. I have not been swimming, in the basic sense of the word, for the longest time that I am sure I could no longer know how to swim maybe. Finding those swimming goggles awhile ago though made me think once again of that invitation that is oh so tempting yet it is a busy Halloween weekend with my dear hubby working all three days this weekend.

You can imagine us just squeezing in the activities in between his work duty just to make the most of this supposedly long weekend over here but happens to be a working weekend for daddy hubby. If we can squeeze in some free time Saturday afternoon for that party, why not! It would be fun swimming again after a long time!

Starbucks Red Cups

Starbucks Coffee red cups coming soon for Christmas 2011. Am I excited? Yes for honestly it is the first Christmas of Starbucks in our city. It just opened this year and so it may just be the first time too that I would get to have a red cup from Starbucks coffee.

I am looking forward as well to their peppermint mocha coffee if that’s the one they usually serve during the Christmas holidays or that Toffee Nut Latte. I know there is one coffee for Christmas that I have not tasted yet. Yes it’s still all new to me. I’m not sorry but am happy and excited to my heart’s delight!

Battery

My old and still functioning Nokia XpressMusic mobile phone seems to be in need of a new battery. I am not sure if I should replace it or just let it go since I am not really using my mobile phone so often the past few years unlike when I was still working in the corporate world. But I did find a battery finder for mobile batteries for Nokia mobile phones just yesterday.

My nephew took interest in wanting to use my mobile phone in case I want to give it away while it is still functioning after all. Why not? He was interested in finding a replacement battery since I do not have much time lately to do just that. I still have to talk to hubby though if I can give up my phone since I still want to make sure in case of emergency I can still make a call through a mobile phone to my sisters. I’ll think about this again after we have a talk with hubby. If he approves, I know my nephew will be so delighted.
