The school owners have mentioned and emphasized that it would be good to have no TV for the kids or if it cannot be totally eliminated, the shows should be regulated. A lot of not good things and influence can be seen by a child on TV. There was even a list given by the school of TV shows that we can let the kids watch.

Actually we have hidden the Cartoon Network, Nick Jr and even Disney Channel from the cable channels. For a couple of days a few days ago, the little boy was happy watching the Lifestyle Network channel with me. It is among the channels acceptable by the school standards. Most of what he has seen were home improvement shows. Watching those shows have also given me an idea on rearranging where we have our TV at home and replacing the old one with one of those indoor tv antennas so that anyone who wants to watch cable TV can do so in one room where the lil boy will be restricted access if we may say so. Eliminating the TV in the house may truly be a great idea but we can allow it on some days maybe just to give a little balance and entertainment on the little boy.
