Bonding Time with Moms

I had a chance to have a surprise bonding time with three other moms at school during my kid’s recent field trip to watch a cultural show in another school. It was a heart’s delight experience if I may say so because it is the first time I have actually been able to chat with the two others though the third one was already somewhat a mommy friend of mine since our kids are classmates this year.

The other mom was a classmate of the mom who was already like a friend of mine. While the fourth mom is a schoolmate of the friend of my friend mom. Get it? LOL! Anyway, it was a spur of the moment decision since we have about more than an hour or two hours of waiting, they decided to go to the nearest mall. DH did not want to come along and decided to stay behind and take pictures instead of the event center which is new aside from taking photos around the school campus.

We went to a restaurant that is famous for their delicious and sweet ice cold dessert. That is what we ordered and it was a treat because I have been wanting to eat that too the day before that. We talked about many things even our views on the school, teachers and our kids’ progress. I learned a few things too and I wish we can bond again. It helps too that moms can compare notes on being moms and of our kids. I hope there are more chances for such bonding time with those moms and other moms as well. I could really learn new, good things about being a better mom.
