Long Weekend

Yes it’s another long weekend that we have here and some families are making the most by having a mini-vacation. Our neighbor invited us to come along to their relative’s place far from the city. I wish we can come but since the dear husband had overtime work this weekend, we had to say no. It would have been nice to go away for the weekend with my family since the little kid has no class.

I do remember our neighbor telling me of their nice rest house in their place that uses those comfortable and exquisite log beds just like those that my own folks love to have even at this time. Yes that is what they actually prefer compared to the comfortable beds with a foam mattress that are more commonly used these days. My folks love those rustic furniture for a rest house rather than those more modern yet still comfortable ones with foam, etc.

Well this long weekend is about to be over. I wish everyone had enjoyed the time they had with their family and loved ones whether you get to travel for a mini-vacation or not. Till the next long weekend!
