Home Theater

Posted under Entertainment, Info, Movies, Tech Stuff

I am amazed at my friend’s creativity of making her own home theater that her three young girls liked. She uses one of those multimedia lcd projectors when her girls wants to watch a movie at home. They no longer need to spend so much when they for movie watching at the mall’s cinema house. They can enjoy watching a fun animated movie right at the comfort of their own home.

It is like having a mini movie house at home she says. The kids like it and it gave me an idea as well when we have family gatherings in my sister’s house next time, an lcd projector if only we have one would make the cousins enjoy watching movies with our lil boy this summer in very own version of a home theater.

Open Season Animated Movie

Posted under Entertainment, Lil Boy, Movies

The little boy has been watching the animated movies Open Season 1 and 2 whole day today. I find it okay though the second movie, the sequel is quite more on slapstick animal style comedy or whatever they call it and I am not in favor of it. I had asked hubby to hide that movie from the file so that the little one won’t find it and chose it to watch again. Though he seems amused with it which is a concern that I am thinking of. Though he knows a little now of what is bad and not still I hope we can avoid seeing those in animated movies intended for kids.

Surprisingly, I just found out that Ashton Kutcher is the voice behind the wild mule deer Elliot’s character and Martin Lawrence (I have seen him in some movies so he looks familiar) is the voice behind Boog, the grizzly bear. Still it’s fun to watch just make sure you guide your kids.

Rabbit Hole

Posted under Entertainment, Movies, Thoughts

Rabbit Hole is a movie I saw today and it somehow made me cry. Tears just flowed down from my eyes maybe as a mother myself, I could somehow feel how hard it will be to lose your young son. I have a son too and am praying each day to the Lord for his good health and protection at all times.

The movie stars Nicole Kidman who plays the role of Becca, a stay at home mom who lost her young son and only child to an accident where he got killed by a teenage driver. She once again saw that teenager one day riding on a school bus which she followed every day on his way home since then until one day they met at the library. Read the rest of this entry »
