Starbucks Coffee 12oz Domed Cold Cup

Posted under Home Matters, Lil Boy, Shopping

It has been quite awhile since I first knew about this Starbucks Coffee 12oz Domed Cold Cup. I wanted to get this not for myself but for the little boy. I wonder if they would have a blue color with a design that is good for boys. We do not have a Starbucks yet here but they will open next year here. So might as well wait for them to open here and see if this is still available or maybe buy it when we get to travel soon to a place with Starbucks.

Nikon Lens F2.8G 24-70mm Travel Coffee Mug

Posted under Photography, Shopping

Finally after finding that Canon lens mug, Nikon now has their own version of that quite deceiving mug.

This is the Nikon Lens F2.8G 24-70mm Travel Coffee Mug… This is a lens mug and not an actual lens.

There is one selling this at Facebook for P2,200 ONLY. Well that’s about $50. Would I buy it? Maybe not yet though it would truly be nice to have one. But given the price, I’ll just buy a few more mugs from Starbucks with the cost of this mug.

Here is the description of this Nikon lens mug: Read the rest of this entry »

Getting Cold

Posted under Info, Shopping

The weather may be particularly hot during the past few days but during night time and early morning, we notice that the weather is really getting colder as the Christmas season nears. The BER months starts tomorrow. Right now it is really cold here inside the house. I remember years ago when any of my sisters would get to travel to the summer capital of our country, they would buy us cardigans and knitted sweaters for which they are famous for. During the Christmas season, that place glows with cool winter breeze and while whole year round the weather there is really cold compared to the other places in the country.

Some of the sweaters we used to have looks like these ones I have found but these are for men which are of signature styles since I am looking for a hand-knitted sweater for dear hubby which he can use in their office since it can get really cold in there with the computer servers needing a really cold temperature to work and function efficiently which is of course really important in the operations of their company. Getting him a new sweater will be good just in time when the weather here gets colder in the next few months.

Christmas Lights

Posted under Home Matters, Info, Occasion, Shopping

The Christmas tree in the house has been up and standing bare in the other room since the last Christmas season ended. The so-called “BER” months will start in exactly two weeks from now. Here the Christmas season starts that early. The little boy has been singing “Christmas tree, christmas tree…” to the tune of Jingle Bells for quite sometime now. He isn’t that excited, right?

The other day I started looking for our Christmas lights. I may be telling hubby we may need to buy new lights this year. Those C6 led christmas lights that I saw the other day seems to be a a good choice for both indoor and outdoor use. It is available in several colors including red, white and multi color. I love the multi-color ones. It is energy efficient therefore letting you save money on the electrical bill. Plus the bulbs are said to be break resistant and weather resistant making sure they can be used again season after season.

Shop and Save

Posted under Home Matters, Info, Shopping

The little boy has fallen asleep and that gives me time to do a little window shopping online which I have found to be a relaxing activity even in my quite busy everyday life at home. I was looking for ceiling fans that has a light too just like those Casablanca fans as shown on the photo, after seeing one in my friend’s folks place a few days ago when I went there for some girl friends bonding time.  I remember another friend telling me a few months ago she was able to shop and save when she got hers online last Christmas. Well if I would become serious in buying one with hubby’s permission of course, I would find ways to shop and save given the Christmas holiday sales are coming in a few months time now. I am sure there is going to be some special discount offers that will let me save.

Shopping for Ties

Posted under Lil Boy, Occasion, Shopping

There is an upcoming wedding where our little boy will be the ring bearer. I am honored for the part that was given to him. It will be his first time to become part of the wedding entourage. I was wondering if I could have him wear pants, long sleeve polo with one of those nice exclusive European designer ties with brands like Atkinsons, Cavallieri, Parsley, Chevalier, Fiorio, Mont Pellier, etc. I could imagine how adorable our little boy will look like wearing one of those.

There are even choices of ties like colored, striped, patterned, festive, and those special sized ties – extra long ties for tall men; fashionable retro style neck ties which is a must for fashion conscious people; clip on tie or secure tie; and those ties for children and youngsters where am browsing on right now.
