Backyardigans

Posted under Entertainment, Lil Boy, TV Shows

And yet the lil boy is having a Backyardigans marathon watching it for days now! I am just glad that this is more children friendly series and nothing much to worry that your little one might see or hear something bad. It is far better than the cartoons that they are sometimes showing in Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network or even Disney Channel.

I like that there is singing and dancing portions in this series which the little boy likes to sing and dance to as well. At times though even if we are in the middle of work here he would ask us to stop, stand up then sing and dance with him and the Backyardigans. There is one episode though that I like most so far and that is entitled Amazing Race. I like the music and songs that they have here. It makes me want to sing and dance as well without the little boy’s prodding me. Try watching this cartoon series with your little ones and am sure they will enjoy it as much as my lil boy enjoyed watching this each day for more than a week now.

Backyardigans Marathon

Posted under Entertainment, Lil Boy, TV Shows

Our precious little boy has been having a Backyardigans marathon today. I have been singing along and listening to these songs almost whole day long. We gave the littl guy a break and let him watch the series which I don’t know where hubby got. One thing I am sure the little boy is enjoying this animated series and he gets to sing along and dance sometimes particularly on the musical parts of the series.

Glee!

Posted under Info, Music, TV Shows

Glee! A biting comedy about the underdog in all of us…

Yes, hubby was able to get the season one of this hit musical TV series Glee from his former temporary boss in the office who we just found was also a Gleek. If I am not mistaken, that is what they call fans of Glee, isn’t it? I don’t know yet how I am going to squeeze in time to watch the episodes. I may just have to watch it late at night when the little boy has gone to dreamland. Then I have to get ready with the best eye cream for dark circles for those coming sleepless nights.

One major reason I want to see this too, though I am not really a fan of it yet, is because Charice Pempengco is going to guest on season two of Glee. It has been confirmed already after it initially came out as just a rumor. There is even a new rumor going around the Lea Salonga is also going to guest in it as Charice mom. But Lea has denied this since there was no offer to her to play that part. I also want to get to know the story from the start as well as know characters more. So there is going to be a marathon of watching Glee for me soon when I am not so busy at night with work and when the little is asleep. Can’t wait to start with episode 1!

Sound Trip

Posted under Entertainment, Music, TV Shows

Thanks to my MusicXpress mobile phone and I could listen to my fave, selected songs and music on my mobile while the power is out. I could not listen well to music when the lil guy in the house has the TV turned on. My music gets drowned with the sound of the TV while I work in the living room unless of course if I go to the room and close the doors. No I don’t have a headset. Maybe I should get one right? Yes I heard you. LOL!

Dawson’s Creek songs now playing. I love this TV series before and I followed all seasons. I love a lot of songs from their album. Anyway, maybe I should also update my music files with newer songs. Got to make a list of songs to upload to my phone. Should add dance songs to it. So I can dance and exercise the next time we get hit by the rotating brownout like to Katie Perry’s Hot and Cold perhaps.

Familiar Voice

Posted under Entertainment, Movies, TV Shows

I always keep hearing this familiar voice. At first I just keep telling myself the voice seems so familar but never thought of who it belonged to. My son has been watching the Disney animated movie Finding Nemo for the nth time since and if you listen to Dory’s voice would you know whose voice it belongs to?

I had watched nemo for many times already before I became conscious of who the voice is behind the Dory character. Dory is the blue fish that nemo’s father Marlin befriended and accompanied him in his journey and search for his son nemo in this Movie. So without further ado, if Dory’s voice is so familiar to you too… it belongs to no other than the newest American Idol judge Ellen DeGeneres. Yes it is her voice, go figure! LOL! I used to watch Ellen’s show so late at night or should I say so early in the morning and now I hear her and see her at American Idol which I have been following too.

FlashForward is Back

Posted under TV Shows

FlashForward is back! Hubby was the one who introduced me to this TV series in ABC called FlashForward. It premiered last October 2009 but was benched sometime in December until this month so it won’t have to compete with the Winter Olympics which just concluded recently. It  was supposed to come back earlier in January according to hubby but because of that it will be back this week on Thursday in the US.

If you are a fan of LOST, another Tv series which is a fave of mine and hubby as well, you’ll see familiar faces from that TV series in FlashForward like Charlie and Penny/Penelope. There were rumors that these two TV series might have some connection. Read the rest of this entry »

Casey James | American Idol Season 9

Posted under Entertainment, Music, TV Shows

If you are a girl and have been watching American Idol Season 9, then you won’t miss Casey James, 27 year old musician from Texas, the contestant who made judge Kara DioGuardi swoon as well as a lot of girls in the world.

I have to admit watching American Idol this season 9 makes it more interesting to have someone like Casey James. Casey is not just my fave among the American Idol Season 9 top 24, there is also Crystal Bowersox whom I am impressed with her natural talent in singing and playing instruments though her first live performance did not impress me much.
