Busy Preparing

Hubby and I met one of our female principal sponsors and her daughter in the mall yesterday as we were shopping for school supplies and stuff for our lil boy. I was surprised to know how times flies ans she has already graduated from her course and will busy preparing to review for her board exam. Speaking of exam, I also remembered another friend in NJ and she has been busy for her gmat prep. The GMAT exam, she explains to me, is a standardized assessment which helps business schools assess the qualifications of applicants for advanced study in business and management. I was also surprised that she is indeed pursuing her dream. She has been looking for the best prep all online. She found one actually and she will by trying it free live, interactive classes one these days.

I guess almost everyone is busy preparing for something these days. Well we can only wish them both the best of luck. As for us we will be busy preparing the lil boy’s other school stuff and cleaning his room from stuff he might not need anymore for school. And I wish the lil boy will be ready for his school to be in full swing starting Tuesday.

Little Blessing

I was able to take a nap for an hour and a half and such a little blessing that am happy to have. It rarely happens but I was suprised the boys  let me sleep. Hubby was telling me over and over to sleep since he saw me really sleepy too. Then I wondered why? He needs my laptop since his 19″ computer monitor for four years or so now has died on him a few days ago. And so I woke up after my nap finding him using my lappy and did not even budge from it. LOL! I have to wait for almost thirty minutes and so I took my time having a snack since I also woke up feeling hungry since it is almost dinner. Still having that nap was a little blessing I am willing to enjoy every day for now. Better things to come I hope aside from the lil boy started going to school giving me a few hours of me time.

Light It Up

Been telling the hubby that I wanted to do something with the lighting in the living room of our place. I wanna light it up simply put I wanna add some lighting to this place in the house where we spend most of our waking hours. I have been doing some window shopping online and coming across Golden lighting which has has among the newest styles and most fashion forward lines when it comes to chandeliers, wall sconces, ceiling lighting, bathroom lighting that are affordable but no one would know as they look like one-of-a-kind designer pieces of lighting. I have gotten this idea using the mini pendant lighting for my work space in the living room so I have more light even if the lil one wants to put off the one in the living room when he sleeps on the sofa bed in the living room. I still get lighted up working here.

MOM!!!

To the woman who brought me to this world, cared for me, loved me, understood me when I did not understand her sometimes, who cooked for us, prepared hot milk for me every single day since I was a baby and until before I married (and I miss and loved that so much!), who did chores for us, who sacrificed her own happiness most of her life for us, who was there when I was sick, who challenged me to do my best in my studies before, who did things I realized is not easy to do now that I am a mother like her already.
